Talle still needs forever home!!

Just a little reminder, Talle is a fantastic dog, he may be a little older, but for a dog his size he has only lived half his life! We just discovered recently he loves to play fetch with a tennis ball, and he adores his toys. An absolute cuddle bug who just wants a lap to sit in and someone to rub his belly. He is content to sit at your feet as well though if your hands are full. He has an adorable little attitude, how often do you hear dogs purr? HE DOES! He will shadow you around the house, the only thing he still has trouble with are stairs. He is a little frightened by thunderstorms so he would like a mommy or daddy that will hold him close and tell him its ok. He loves car rides and walks, any adventures are exciting to him. This pretty boy would be an absolute treat to have, so please consider bringing this gem into your life!

Talledega the pom, one special dog

Talledega is a beautiful, energetic Pomeranian boy. We don't know how or why he came to find himself in a rural shelter and the shelter did not have any past owner history. Lucky for Talle, Homeward Trails was able to find a foster home for him.

His first stop was with foster Susie. Talle lived with Susie and was doing ok - he got along well with all the other dog in the house and canine visitors. Talle enjoyed being outside in Susie's yard and loved the belly rubs Susie gave him. But since there was another dog that really needed a more constant companion like Susie and her dog, (and Talle was fine as an only dog), Talle moved to a new foster home.

Talledega is now living with another wonderful foster family. Lucky Talle still gets lots of belly rubs.
Talledega has a typical Pomeranian personality in the fact that if he thinks he can, he will put himself in charge of the people of the house. Therefore, he should not go to a house with children under 10 yrs. old. He also needs a strong 'packleader' that will provide structure and discipline. Talledega is not a barker, and in general is a low to medium energy dog. Please consider making this little guy a part of your home!
